Aims & Scope
Biology Methods & Protocols publishes methodology and protocol papers in the biological sciences. It primarily publishes in the areas of genetics and heredity, biochemistry, molecular biology, ecology, evolutionary biology, marine and freshwater biology and cell biology.
Research Resource Identifiers
Biology Methods and Protocols is pleased to support the Resource Identification Initiative by supporting the use of Research Resource Identifiers (RRIDs). This project helps address concerns of reproducibility by providing unique searchable identifiers for critical reagents and tools. RRIDs can be used to link readers to external resources, and they also enable search engines to return all papers in which a particular antibody, organism, or tool was used. For more information on how to use RRIDs in your Biology Methods and Protocols paper please see our Instructions to Authors.
